[MAR '03] Metal Hammer - Demo of the month - March
Swaggering, confident, as dogsbollockingly slick as Pamela Anderson's pet Vietnamese pop bellied pig's six surgically enhanced tits AND, best of all, REALLY FUCKING LOUD - this is what a demo should sound like.

Candycaine sounds like the Foo Fighters gaffa-taped to a stainless steel table while crack addit Helmet fan get medieval on thier metal asses. By which of course, we mean robot donkeys.

Skittering off-kilter drum patterns are strafed by skullcrushing rifferama. And singer Jay Hewlett's voice has a range and power which suggests that Candycaine have ALREADY attained a level of maturity and skill which knocks most signed bands into a cocked hat. And then shits in it. And eats it. With mustard.
